Alexandre Bigot-Joly

Co-founding partner of INFLUXIO, Maître Alexandre BIGOT-JOLY has worked in business law firms and public institutions where he trained in media and communications law, intellectual property and criminal law.

Maître BIGOT-JOLY holds the French bar qualification (CAPA) and degrees in finance, real estate law and general private law. He also completed criminal law coursework at the Institut d'Études Judiciaires of Panthéon-Assas University.

Recognized as one of the leading figures in French music law, Maître BIGOT-JOLY advises independent labels and majors, music publishers, phonographic producers, managers and renowned recording artists on a daily basis.

He negotiates and drafts the structuring contracts of the industry (recording, publishing, licensing, distribution, 360 deals, executive producer agreements) and intervenes throughout the entire exploitation cycle of a musical work, from the studio to streaming platforms, including litigation before civil and criminal courts.

A pioneer of influencer law, Maître BIGOT-JOLY has been advising content creators, influencer agencies, advertisers and platforms for over a decade on securing their commercial operations, complying with the French law of June 9, 2023 on influencers, negotiating partnership agreements and managing disputes.

His expertise also covers the specific legal framework applicable to child influencers, a topic on which he is regularly interviewed by national media.

Maître BIGOT-JOLY lectures on music law, communications law and media law at several leading communications schools (CELSA, ISCOM, ESP).

Admitted to the Paris and Brussels Bars, Maître BIGOT-JOLY advises influencers, communications professionals, labels, artists and music producers, in both advisory and litigation matters before all courts. He also practices criminal law, particularly in proceedings related to cyberbullying, defamation and privacy violations.
